Elko Braas

Elko Braas works with installation, sound, and performative formats. The starting point for his works is technical systems, scientific models, and processes of translation. They explore how perception, knowledge, and reality are shaped by measurements, media, and abstractions. The focus is on ephemeral phenomena, signal processes, and the question of what becomes visible, audible, or perceptible—and what, at the same time, eludes all capture.
